The City of Beavercreek’s Parks, Recreation & Culture Division is accepting referee applications for its adult recreational co-ed soccer league.
The league welcomes men and women ages 18 and older and holds games on Sundays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The seven-week seasons run in spring, starting in late March or early April; summer, beginning in mid-June; and fall, kicking off in late August or early September. Games take place at either Ankeney Soccer Complex, located at 505 South Orchard Lane, or Rotary Park at 2260 Dayton-Xenia Road. The league follows U.S. Soccer Federation rules.
Referees will earn between $60 and $75 per 70-minute game, depending on their qualifications and experience, with the opportunity to officiate multiple games each Sunday. Payments are issued by check from the City of Beavercreek, either monthly or at the end of each season, based on the referee’s preference.
Prospective referees should be aware that they may be subject to a background screening. Additionally, they must carry proper insurance coverage, listing the City of Beavercreek as an additional insured.
