SENIOR CENTER VAN FUNDRAISER DONATION
The Beavercreek Senior Center is conducting a fundraising campaign to purchase a new large transportation van, essential to continuing ride services for local seniors, especially those with mobility challenges. The new van costs $160,000, and without it, the center may have to reduce services such as grocery trips and wheelchair-accessible rides. In 2024, the center’s transportation program provided more than 9,000 low-cost rides, supported by 155 volunteers who donated more than 34,000 hours. Donations can be made online or at the center, located at 3868 Dayton Xenia Rd. The center is also seeking volunteer drivers to help keep seniors mobile, independent, and connected.
