This one-hour Map and Compass course is designed to introduce participants to the basics of navigating with a map and compass. Over the course of the session, participants will learn how to read topographic maps, understand scales and symbols, and use a compass to determine directions. The course will cover key skills like taking bearings, orienting a map, and navigating to specific points in the field. Through hands-on practice, participants will gain the confidence to navigate safely in outdoor environments.
