This program offers the opportunity to enshrine yourself or a loved one in a place of honor at the City of Beavercreek’s Veterans Memorial Park, located at 1911 North Fairfield Road. Brick space is available for all who served in the United States' military.
Past or present membership in any veteran’s organization is not a requirement for purchase of a memorial brick. You also do not have to be a Beavercreek resident. The memorial is dedicated to all veterans who served the U.S., living or deceased.
A 4 by 8-inch brick, which holds three lines of 14 characters, can be purchased for $150. An 8 by 8-inch brick, which holds five lines of 14 characters, can be purchased for $250.Information on the brick should be simple and dignified. Information can include rank, medals earned, branch of service, ship name, service years, war and/or battle fought. Each brick must be dedicated to a veteran and cannot include names of organizations, businesses, schools, friends or family members.
Bricks purchased for several family members or friends can be grouped together if space is available and is requested at the time of purchase.
Celebration Trees
This program provides an opportunity for meaningful tributes in a beautiful, public setting. Commemorate a birth, wedding, anniversary, retirement, achievement, or honor the memory of a loved one by planting a tree in a City of Beavercreek park.
Celebration trees may be purchased for $500. Pricing includes the tree, installation, and plaque placed in front of the tree. Parks staff will assist with selecting the tree species and location. Trees will be planted in the late fall of each year and must be ordered before August 31 in time for planting
Commemorative Benches
Beavercreek Parks, Recreation & Culture offers a commemorative bench program where staff will install a new bench with a plaque in one of the city’s beautiful parks or green spaces. Bench locations are subject to availability and approval. Each plaque can include up to 3 lines of text and 18 characters per line.Commemorative benches may be purchased for $2,000. Pricing includes the bench, installation, and the plaque. Benches are installed in the fall of each year and must be ordered before August 31 to be installed that year.
