The AARP Smart Driver Course is designed for drivers 50 and older, although any licensed driver may attend. It features informative and relevant content that is updated to reflect current state regulations and the latest driver safety and transportation innovations--bundled with the most up-to-date information based on new research and expert recommendations. You should check with your car insurance company to see if they may give you an annual or multi-year premium discount for completing this course.
Learn about skills and strategies you can use on the road every day. Discover defensive driving techniques to help you deal with aggressive drivers. Explore local laws and traffic rules for drivers. Get tips for proper maintenance of your vehicle so it's safe before you drive.
Arrive at 8:30 a.m. to complete AARP registration. Please bring your AARP membership card and a valid driver's license.
$20 for AARP members; $25 for non-members. Check payable to AARP due upon class registration. Registration begins Wednesday, May 31 at 9 a.m.
