The Beavercreek Senior Center has a monthly shredding service for members, and offers a transportation service. Matt with GCCOA provides assistance with consumer and insurance issues, caregiver concerns, etc. Additionally we have partners that provide services such as hearing checks, and hearing aid cleaning. Free, members only. 

Services
  • Blood Pressure Checks - Kettering Health will be providing blood pressure checks at the Center.
  • GCCOA Assistance with Matt - Council Care Manager, Matt Murphy is scheduled at the Center the first and third Thursdays from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Matt is available for support, including assistance with consumer and insurance issues, caregiving concerns, or anything else needing an extra set of ears or eyes.   • Hearing Checks with Butch – Butch from the Fairborn Hearing Aid Center will conduct hearing checks, including checking and/or cleaning hearing aids. Registration required.
  • Hearing Checks and Hearing Aid Cleaning - Harmony Hearing will be at the Senior Center on the first Tuesday of the month to do ear evaluation, minor cleaning and will check the mechanics of any aids.
  • Shredding Service – Shredding day is the first Monday we are open of every month. We ask that you please limit yourself to the equivalent of two (2) banker’s boxes of paper to be placed in the shredding totes. Members only.
  • Tech Tip Tuesdays - Drop in for 1-on1 instruction with Beavercreek Community Library for basic help on computers with your email, searching the internet, and using Facebook. Bring your laptop, phone or tablet.
