This is a 9 week course, presented by Strollers in Motion, for women who want to successfully run a 5k! Perfect for new runners and those returning from a running hiatus. This course follows a plan that is a mix of walking and running that gradually build up stamina to be able to run for a full 30 minutes. Enrollment in either or both days includes a 9 week walk/running plan to go from couch to 30 minutes of running, and each class will include additional strength and core training to prevent injury. If you’ve always wondered if you could be a runner but don’t know where to start this is the program for you.
One class per week: $52 / $45 Resident Discounted Fee
Two classes per week: $86 / $75 Resident Discounted Fee
Tuesdays, 5:30 to 6:30 pm at Dominick Lofino Park
Thursdays, 9:30 to 10:30 am at Rotary Park
