Collaborative Piano & Strings Camp:
CPSC offers piano, violin, viola, cello and bass students an opportunity to explore the art of collaboration working in duos, trios and small ensembles. A week of private and ensemble coaching and special topic classes culminates in a family program on Friday at 11:30 AM. The workshop is led by Kara Camfield, Conductor of the Dayton Philharmonic Junior Strings, and supported by orchestra musicians and collaborative pianists from the Dayton and Cincinnati areas. Participants must have studied privately during the 2019-20 academic year and should currently be in a level comparable to Suzuki Book 2 or higher (strings) or Piano Method Level 3 or higher.  Tuition includes a t-shirt!

Music Theatre Workshop:
Discover solo and ensemble singing in this dynamic workshop! Students will collaborate in small groups, learning scenes from popular Broadway shows. The program will focus on developing healthy singing habits through solo and ensemble work, with each day including vocal warm-ups and individual coaching. Music Theatre Workshop concludes with a parent showcase on Friday at 11:30 a.m.

Instrument Lab:
This interactive lab allows children to explore an assortment of musical instruments! Participants will be introduced to a new instrument each day, learning how to produce sound and a simple song. Children will also learn music fundamentals through fun games and activities. Guest Performers will treat participants to a mini-concert each day. Tuition includes a small instrument for each child to take home!
