Challenge Island Girl Scout Workshops

Challenge Island is a corporate sponsor with Girl Scout councils from coast to coast.  Our one of a kind STEAM Challenges fulfill a wide variety of Badge and Journey requirements.

(Take action and awards completed separately.  Troop leaders are responsible for ordering Girl Scout Badge for all Challenge Island Programs.)

Girl Scout Junior - Think Like an Engineer Journey Workshop, August 24:
Juniors will earn a Journey Badge plus a Challenge Island Fun Patch!  Juniors will design and build a paper Eiffel Tower, create an emergency shelter for pets and construct an earthquake safe hotel.  

Girl Scout Brownie - Making Games Badge Workshop, September 14:
In this 3 hour workshop girls will earn the Making Games Badge and a Challenge Island fun patch. Girls will invent a new arcade game, make a Putt Putt Golf course and play their games with their friends.

Girl Scout Daisy - Think Like an Engineer Journey Workshop, October 12: 
In this 3 hour workshop, girls will earn a Journey Badge and a Challenge Island Fun Patch. Girls will design and build a fairy house, build a puff mobile and build a bridge to cross the canyon.  

Girl Scout Junior - Think Like an Engineer Journey Workshop, November 9:
Juniors will earn a Journey Badge plus a Challenge Island Fun Patch!  Juniors will design and build a paper Eiffel Tower, create an emergency shelter for pets and construct an earthquake safe hotel.
